What services do you provide your clients?


Our concierge level service begins before you even book your trip. We help you determine the best resort, ship, room category, stateroom, ticket type, and dining plan for your family and budget. Once your trip is booked, we will provide you with all the information and tips you need for a successful vacation. We consult with you to determine the best dining and fastpass choices and then we will make those reservations for you. We will monitor your reservation and apply any discounts for which you qualify which may be released after you book. We can also assist in booking any stroller or scooter rentals, special events, tours, spa appointments, and tee times. Your travel planner will create a custom, personalized itinerary with daily park plans to help you avoid long lines and maximize your time in the parks. You'll be prepared when you leave for your trip; however, if you do run into any problems, your travel planner will be just a phone call or text away to help get your vacation back on track. Are your services really free?


Yes! When you book your trip (package that includes a hotel stay or a cruise) with a Diserella travel planner, our concierge planning services are 100% free. There are no hidden fees. You will pay the same as or less than what you would booking directly with the vendor. Should you only need flights or tickets, we MAY charge a planning fee which will be disclosed and agreed upon upfront.




Do I have to pay everything upfront?


Usually, no. A deposit is required to secure your reservation. The amount varies based upon the type of reservation and the supplier's particular policies. Walt Disney World packages require just a $200 deposit and the remaining balance is not due until 30 days prior to travel Your travel planner will advise you before booking when your balance is due and will work with you to set up a payment plan, if desired. If you are booking your vacation within 90 days of travel, a larger deposit or payment in full may be required. Again, these terms will be disclosed by your travel planner, in your quote.




I already booked with Disney. Can you still help me plan my trip?


Most likely. Check with one of our travel planners or email us at info@diserella.com to see if your reservation can be transferred to us - a simple process that costs you nothing. If so, you'll receive all of the same services listed above for FREE! If not, we will quote you a one-time planning fee based on the specifics of your trip. Learn more here. As a professional courtesy, we will not accept transfers on vacations that have been booked with another travel agency/agent.




How are my payments handled?


Payments will be applied by your agent directly to The Walt Disney Travel Company (or other supplier for non-Disney travel) on your behalf. We do not hold or deposit any monies to our company bank account with the exception of planning fees charged to our clients who do not book their accomodations with us. All booking and ticketing transactions will be paid directly to the supplier through their secure payment processing system.




What happens if a promotion or price drop comes out after I book?


No Problem! Your Diserella Travel Planner will constantly monitor your booking for any promotions or price reductions and will proactively apply the savings should your reservation qualify and notify you with the good news! If changes to the reservation are necessary to take advantage of a lower price, we will contact you first to discuss the options. Please keep in mind, sometimes suppliers run promotions only for residents of specific states, seniors, etc - or they require a change fee or particular package components to take advantage of the savings. Also, some cruise lines will issue the savings as onboard credit or as a stateroom upgrade.




What payment methods do you accept?


We accept major credit cards for your deposit and final payment. Your credit card number will be provided to the travel supplier, they will run the transaction and it will show up on your statement as a charge from the supplier. Payment by check directly to the supplier is sometimes possible. Please let your agent know your intentions so that they can provide you with the proper mailing address and adjust your payment due dates accordingly. Unless disclosed in a Group Travel contract, at no time will Diserella Travel hold any client funds.




What is your cancellation, reschedule, and change policy/fees?


We certainly understand it is sometimes necessary to cancel, reschedule, or otherwise change your vacation plans. Our agency does not charge any fees for changes or cancellations. We are confident that in the unfortunate circumstance that you have to cancel your vacation, you will be so pleased with our serivce that you will certainly return. However, the suppliers change and cancellation policies will still apply. Your Diserella Travel Planner will provide the terms and conditions for any suppliers we are booking for you prior to your deposit. If you have questions about these policies, please do not hesitate to ask for clarification.




How far in advance do I need to make my reservations?


While we can help you book a trip with just a few days notice, the earlier you book the better! For Walt Disney World Resort vacations, dining reservations open for booking 180 days prior to arrival and many of the most popular restaurants book within a few minutes of that opening. Also, some limited room types and certain campsites are fully booked a year or more in advance. Therefore, we recommend booking your Disney World vacation 12 to 7 months in advance. Cruise pricing is dynamic which means that the price increases as the ship fills. Opening day pricing on most cruise lines is often the lowest you will find. Cruises typically open for booking 18 to 24 months in advance. Booking your vacation well in advance also allows us plenty of time to make the most magic and ensure the vacation of your dreams. Think Ahead Imagine the travel experiences you want to have. Beach resorts? National parks? A cruise? Disney? International travel? Milestone celebrations? Different experiences are better at different ages. Have a mental timeline and then plan for it! Put it on the calendar! Talk to one of our travel planners about the travel you want to do over the next five years. We may have insider information about certain destinations and can advise you the best time to book your vacations. Budget for Travel When you book early, you have time to save and budget for your vacations. A recent study showed those in the planning phase of a vacation had a higher happiness score than those not planning to go away.




If I'm not paying for your services, am I paying more for my vacation? How do you get paid?


When you book with Diserella, you will pay the same as or less than what you would booking directly. All travel suppliers (Disney, Universal, Royal Caribbean, Sandals, etc.) build a commission into their pricing. When you book directly with the supplier, they keep the commission for themselves and provide no additional planning services. When you book with a travel agent, not only are you supporting a small business, but you are also receiving their travel planning services and expertise. Win-win!




I've heard horror stories of travel agencies going out of business leaving their client's without a vacation and out their money. How can I be sure this won't happen with you?


We operate differently than those types of agencies. Diserella Travel does not charge your credit card or hold your funds. You are not paying Diserella Travel. Our agents take your credit card information (securely) and provide it to the supplier for processing and payment. The supplier with whom you are booked makes the actual charge to your card. This way you are assured that every payment you make towards your vacation is applied directly to your reservation. After each payment you make, we will send you a Diserella invoice which shows your payments-to-date and balance remaning plus a payment confirmation/receipt from the supplier. We do this to give you verification and peace of mind that your payment was actually applied toward your reservation with the supplier. Should a supplier go out of business, we will advocate on your behalf for any monies due or work to arrange alternate plans. However, vacation insurance is highly recommended for your protection in these circumstances.




Do you book flights?


Yes, we will book your air travel when you book your accommodations with us as well. We ocassionally book flights only, but this is on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire with an agent.




Are you able to book travellers with special needs?


Absolutely! We work with clients with a variety of special needs on a regular basis. Our agents are trained to understand and handle the unique challenges of guests with physical handicaps, cognitive delays, autism, and dietary restrictions. Whatever your challenges may be, we will go above and beyond to ensure you have a safe, comfortable, and magical vacation.

What is the difference between the Disney resort categories?

What is FastPass+


Available at Walt Disney World, FastPass+ lets you skip the standby line for select attractions, shows and Character Greetings. FastPass+ service is included in the price of theme park admission. Guests may book three FastPass+ attractions per day of their tickets before arriving in the parks. These are booked 60 days in advance for guests staying in a Disney-owned resort or Good Neighbor hotel, while off-site guests are able to book their FastPasses 30 days before arrival. Additional FastPass+ selections may be made in the park via the Disney World app after the original three selections are used. When you book with Diserella, your travel planner will advise you on the best attractions to select for your FastPass allotments and will even make those reservations for you.




Do I really need to make dining reservations 180 days in advance?


Yes and no. The best way to ensure you get the dining reservations you want is to book them at 6am EST 180 days prior to arrival. Many of the most popular restaurants book complelety within the first few minutes while others will have all of the "good" times taken. Making dining reservations is part of our complimentary service, so there's no need for you to get up at the crack of dawn (or middle of the night depending on your time zone). We are experienced at operating the Disney system and know how to prioritize and optimize your reservations to increase the chances of getting exactly the restaurants and times you want. It is possible to garner these hard-to-get reservations after the 180 day mark, but it takes a lot more work and luck! Our travel planners go that extra mile to make the magic happen for our clients who book less than 180 days in advance, but we can never guarantee any particular reservation. Your best bet is to book early! If you do not book dining reservations in advance, you likely will not have an opportunity to dine at many of the most popular restaurants, including character dining, and/or may have a substanial wait and/or have to dine at "off" times. If you do choose to go this route, our travel planners will gladly advise you as to which restaurants are easiest to get into at the last minute.




How much experience do you have with Disney theme parks and cruises?


A lot! Diserella has been visiting Disney theme parks since the mid-1970s and sailing on Disney Cruise Line for the past 15 years. We have stayed at every resort, eaten at every restaurant, experinced every attraction, attended all of the specially ticketed events, and sailed on each Disney ship. We've traveled with kids and without. We've traveled solo, with friends, and as a large extended family group. We've visited the parks during every month and sailed Disney's most popular itineraries. In short, we've been there, done that, and usually have done it again and again and again. Our agents stay up-to-date on all the latest Disney news, additions, refurbishments, and changes plus attend online and on-site trainings frequently. We have fun when we travel to be sure, but we are also observing and evaluating destinations and experiences through a travel agent's lens - making mental notes, evaluating, and considering each resort, restaurant, ship, and attraction from a variety of perspectives.
