Free Walt Disney World Souvenirs

Updated: Feb 2, 2021

Taking a trip to Walt Disney World is not an inexpensive venture, even when we at Diserella Travel find our clients the best of the best deals and offers. So once you've paid for your Disney package and travel expenses, as well as budgeted for food and other necessary items, there may not be much left for souvenir spending. That's why we have put together a list of a few of the fun, free souvenirs that you can find during your epic Mickey Magical Vacation.

Celebration Buttons

Celebrations are an everyday occurrence and Disney likes to celebrate along with its guests. It could be a big life step such as a honeymoon, a retirement, or a first visit to WDW. Or it could be a personal victory like finishing a project at work or a child surviving a week at school with a mask. No matter the reason, a trip to Disney is always a reason to celebrate. Pick up your complimentary celebration button at any park guest service office or your resort's check-in desk.

Tip: If you book your trip with a Diserella Travel Advisor, we'll send you any of these buttons before your trip so you'll have them from the very start!

Kidcot

Travel around the World Showcase at Epcot to visit each country's KIDCOT location and collect these fun fact cards complete with a ziploc "briefcase" to tote them in. It's a neat international memento that kids and adults alike can enjoy.

Wilderness Explorer Badge

Follow in the footsteps of Doug from Up. Grab a Wilderness Explorer Handbook from any Wilderness Guide location at Animal Kingdom to begin your trek around the park. Guests of all ages can collect 25 different badges through a series of fun, nature-inspired challenges.

A Pirate's Adventure

Calling all mateys -- head over to Adventureland in Magic Kingdom to grab a map that will start your treasure search. Guests young and old will enjoy the five interactive searches, collecting a treasure finder card at the end of each one. The final goal --- the sixth card signed by Captain Jack Sparrow himself.

Animation Experience

This one takes a little scheduling, but is worth the effort. Take the train over to Rafiki's Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom to create this one-of-a-kind souvenir. Meet a Disney animator who will lead you and other fellow guests in a 20 minute "animation experience" to draw a Disney character. Make several trips and create a different character each time. To be sure, this is one free souvenir that will be totally unique.

Make the most of your Mickey Magical Disney experience by enjoying one or all of these experiences that will allow you to take home a few fun mementos of your trip and be part of memory boxes to look back on for years to come.
