It’s the most SPOOKtacular time of the year and it’s never too early for Halloween!
Every fall Universal Orlando — and Universal Hollywood — hosts an event fit for any horror/halloween fan in your life, Halloween Horror Nights! This two month event runs from early September to October 31st and is jam packed with horrifying mutants, monsters, maniacs and more! You’ll get to experience 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, 2 shows and select attractions!
Halloween Horror Nights features multiple haunted houses themed after some of the most popular horror films/shows such as Stranger Things, Halloween, and Insidious. In addition, each year, the minds of Universal Creative include unique creations that are designed to frighten! In 2022 those included Bugs: Eaten Alive, Dead Man’s Pier: Winter’s Wake & Descendants of Destruction.
The (jump) scares are all around during Halloween Horror Nights and that couldn’t be more true in the 5 Scare Zones located throughout the park. Terror is lurking behind every corner waiting to jump out and scare you! Whether you’re just walking through or watching others get scared, the Scare Zones can’t be missed!
Take a break from the scares and enjoy some of Universal Studio’s exciting attractions! Many popular attractions such as Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts and Revenge of the Mummy are open throughout the night with minimal wait times!
HHN Express Passes can be purchased to bypass the long lines, which is especially helpful if you’re only able to attend the event for one night! They also offer VIP tours or as they call them RIP Tours. You’ll have a personal guide take you through the entire event — all houses, scare zones and shows! And boy do you get the VIP treatment straight to the entrance of the houses! You’ll also enjoy a pre-event meal before your tour starts. This is a really awesome experience that I personally had the opportunity to enjoy this past year! I highly recommend it, especially if you only have one night and you want to do everything!
